This accordion style crossbody ethical bag has over 12 pockets and 8 compartments.The handwoven huipil pattern features ancient Mayan textile designs and a soft full grain leather that becomes even more beautiful with wear.
All exterior and interior textiles have been loomed by hand on the backstrap loom by a skilled Artisan in Guatemala. Every one of our ethical purses and ethical handbags feature full grain leather and Guatemalan huipils or other Mayan weavings. Huipil fabric is created through a Mayan weaving process that utilizes a traditional loom. This Guatemalan weaving technique requires great skill and precision. Backstrap weaving is common in many Rural areas of Guatemala.
